Cuevera is a browser extension for neurodivergent adults that helps interpret workplace and online communication and check how a user's own wording may come across. This policy explains what information is processed when Cuevera is used.
The highlighted text and limited nearby context are sent over encrypted connections to Cuevera's server and then to our language-processing provider solely to provide the requested feature. Cuevera's current server requests that the language-processing service not store the request for provider-side response storage.
Cuevera does not retain the raw highlighted text or raw nearby context in its application cache. To improve speed and control cost, Cuevera may retain a one-way hash derived from the request together with the generated Cuevera result. A hash is used as the cache key rather than storing the original page text. Operational logs may contain technical usage information such as model, token counts, error details, and estimated cost; they are not intended to contain the submitted message text.
Cuevera uses Chrome extension storage for settings and operational state such as whether Cuevera is enabled for a site, an anonymous installation identifier, theme/preferences where applicable, and subscription/access information.
Subscriptions and payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment information under its own privacy terms. Cuevera receives subscription/access information needed to provide Premium features, not your full card number.
Because an analysis request is processed by an online server and language-processing provider, highlighted text and the limited context sent with it do leave your computer for processing. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or employer-restricted information unless you are permitted to use an external language-processing service for that information.
You control when Cuevera is activated. You can disable Cuevera for a site, stop using it, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes extension-local data controlled by Chrome from that browser profile. You can cancel a paid subscription separately through the available subscription-management process.
Communications between the extension, Cuevera's server, and the language-processing provider use encrypted HTTPS connections. Subscription tokens are stored in hashed form on the server where applicable. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid submitting information they are not permitted to process through an external service.
Cuevera is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
